Christians have been advised to be closer to God and commit all their need into His hands.
The leader of the Unification of Aladura Churches, Rt. Revd. Ogunyemi, gave this sermon at the service of songs held in honour of the slain politician, Otunba Adedipupo Akanni Dina, at his Endurance Gardens residence, along Erunwon road, Ijebu-Ode.
“Otunba Dina came, saw and conquered. We that remain should try to live a memorable life like DD Direct, who has gone to rest in the bosom of his Lord. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace”.
Meanwhile the burial arrangement continues, both at his Lagos residence, Dele Court, 56, Chris Alli Crescent, 2nd Avenue Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos and Ijebu-Ode, simultaneously.
A Service of Songs will be held for him by the Unilag Alumni Association at the Multipurpose Hall, Unilag, Lagos and the Organisation of African Institute Churches (O.A.I.C.) is conducting another for him at his Endurance Gardens residence in Ijebu-Ode.
The League of Imams & Alfas of Ijebuland will also hold a special prayer for the deceased tomorrow morning, while the Christians Association of Nigeria (CAN) will conduct theirs in the evening. It will be preceeded by a candle night procession by youths in Ijebuland.
The late Otunba Dipo Dina, Atayese Egbe Bobagunte (male) of Ijebuland, the Action Congress (AC) gubernatorial aspirant in Ogun State in the last general election was assassinated by unknown gunmen along Idiroko-Agbara road, on Monday 25 January, 2010.
Otunba Dipo Dina will be buried on Friday 12, February, 2010 at his residence, Endurance Gardens, along Erunwon road, Ijebu-Ode and reception follows at Chris Ogunbanjo playing ground, Erunwon-Ijebu in Ijebu North-East Local Government area of the State.

The people in authority should find a solution and answer to this and no thruth should be harboured. It is DIna today , whose turn is it going to be tomorrow?

They took you away without any thought of your children and wife and those people who you are their backbone. May those that used you as a pain for your family never see happiness for the short time they will exist.
