   Thank God you are alive.I was also attacked at ilupeju two sundays
   Ago at ilupeju near lsdpc.All my personal belongings were cated away.
   I advise Nigerians not to ply that area after 8pm.I was just discharged

    This story is sad. It is a big set back to the rebranding drive of Nigeria and Nigerians as those outside the country will have to think twice before coming to settle down at home. The security issue in Nigeria is really very BAD. Gbenga, i want you to pray and put your trust in God. These bandit will never go unpunished.
    My advice to everyone is that we should try to live a low prifile life.Let us desist from the habit of keeping friends. As much as possible dont allow strangers into your home.
    I will advice the government to overhaul the POLICE FORCE. It is presently incomp[etent and seriously corrupt.The members of NPF collude with criminals to torment defenseless civilians. It is no longer news that they rent out ammunitions to robbers and lattter share the loot.This is the time to act. Let us put this issue of security in the rebranding Nigeria package

    @SAMUEL DARLINGTON.. …I quite disagree with you on that…Because things like that is happening in our country is not a yardstick for us not to go back home…Insecurity leads to collapse of a country but I must be sincere with you that our government and the oppressor can put that into a thing of the past…..There are things that rich people do in Naija that furstrate and intimidate the poor (oppressed)

    When a rich man, the people in government and their cohorts will be spending thousands on a musician…A graduate and the less priviledge will stand and feel oppressed without a shelter,meal for the day even a drug if feeling tired or sick..In any country that a man can stand and see his fellow citizen as an Angel, see his fellow citizen as a blessing from God and he as a curse, a devil incarnate because of his financial backgroung then there will be problem…..Let their be job..Engage people on things to keep their body and soul together..Let citizens see future in themselves and in the country…Crime will be minimal..

    I was in a store abroad sometimes ago and a friend point at a man to me that do you know him…I said NO,he told me that is the governor of the state on a closer look i answered in affirmative because i always see him on TV…..MY POINT: I look back at my country and i felt like weeping because the Governor was not with any security..He carried his shopping bag himself in the same store with us without been harassed by a mad looking mobile police…Without been chased out…without been pushed off not to ask for a photograph……MY GOD!!!…And our own insane leaders will go to the same abroad without moving around like a tin god..then why the madness over the tax payers that you squandering their hard earned money…….MADNESS

    Things happen abroad too that you will feel like running back home because it will be weird and stupid…..Nigeria will rise again…from GLORY to GLORY because Naija is OUR MOTHERLAND…….GOD BLESS NIGERIA AND NIGERIANS..

    Nigeria is a time bomb. i was attackedby some hired assasins or armed robbers about three weeks ago while waiting to have some fraudsters locked up. I was traced and followed while driving in my car and attacked at gun point and slo matcheted. I was to appeared the following day in court but with the state of my condition. i couldn’t.

    But people, what else do you expect? In a country of over 140 million, where majority of us do not have food to eat, beds to sleep, schools to go or work to do? If just a few people have material wealth, we all know that nothing is safe and security is almost non-existent. Talk about equal opportunity and a level playing field. Do you think these people care when their very own brothers are wasting away and parents who can barely survive. We need to rethink our values and I’m in no way attacking anyone here. Everyone is free to do what they want with their money but really, you can never really be happy with your own well/pump, generator and AC in your house, when most people don’t have light or water, or with your fine car on roads full of potholes. Where’s the joy in that? We need to start caring for our brothers so that we all rise together as a nation.

    It is saddening noting the way things are going on the country security-wise.Government is paying lip-service.The first stage at rebranding the police is to change its name from the Nigerian Police FORCE to Nigerian Police SERVICE.That way they will know that they have come to serve and not to brutalise or maltreat the taxpayers.

    The second thing to do is to create a parallel outfit that will checkmate the activity of the Police.Some Policemen collude with these criminals to perpetrate this kidnapping and armed robbery .

    The third suggestion is for Government to make kidnapping a capital punishment.Once one or more persons are killed it will stop automatically

    Lastly, the government must live up to its duties to the people who elected them
