Oath Taking Mess: Alausa Is A Liar — Ikenne LG Boss

July 03, 2009 14:37, 1,292 views

Otunba Tiwalade Sobo, Executive Chairman, Ikenne Local Government of Ogun State, has debunked the claims made by Wale Alausa, as published on page 64 of the Punch Newspaper of Wednesday, July 1, 2009 that council chairmen in the state took oath.

According to him, “My attention was drawn to an advertorial in the Punch Newspaper of Wednesday, July 1, 2009, page 64, titled, Wale Alausa’s Reaction to Nude Picture Publication, being a Press Text read by Hon. Wale Alausa at the International Press Centre, Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos.

“In the said advertorial, he stated among other incoherent and illogical claims that Local Government Council Chairmen in Ogun State also swore to Oath of Allegiance to Otunba Gbenga Daniel before their elections in 2007.

“I, Otunba Tiwalade Sobo the Executive Chairman, Ikenne Local Government wish to unequivocally state that the statement as credited to Hon. Wale Alausa is nothing but the ranting of a drowning man who in his confused state of mind is looking for co-travelers in his shameful act of desperation.”

Sobo added that as a devout Christian, and a grassroots politician, he had never had any reason whatsoever to engage in any fetish or occult activities in the course of aspiring to be the Chairman of Ikenne Local Government.

“Furthermore,” he continued, “as a divinely-blessed man who has always been contented with what the Lord has done for me, there has never been any reason for me to be desperate, to the extent of going diabolical all in the quest of ascending the position of a Council Chairman.

“I also wish to emphatically state that to the best of my knowledge, none of the Council Chairmen in Ogun State took any Oath of Allegiance, before, during and after our election in 2007.

“It would be wise for Hon. Wale Alausa to immediately stop bringing disgrace and dishonour to the highly civilized and sophisticated people of Ogun State and as such, resign his membership of the Ogun State House of Assembly forthwith, in order to enable our development-focused Governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel to continue to deliver more dividends of democracy to the good people of our dear state.”

Shut up Mr. Chairman, you can only speak for yourself. As a matter of fact, your reaction to this whole saga is one-sided. Does it take sophistication for a governor to publish a nude picture of a lawmaker in his own paper? It only goes to show the babaric nature of Gbenga Daniel and his agents of darkness.

He spoke for himself and added that to the best of his knowledge no council chairman did it. You people attacking him don’t understand simple English. Stop castigating the man. Wale Alausa was desperate for political position. Now he has ruined his reputation, appearing naked like a mad man. He should hide face in shame.

Mr chairman, you can not talk for anyone except yourself. There is no credible voice(Politician) in Ogun State right now.Ogun has always had honest and straight forward leaders such as Awo,Onabanjo,Adesanya,Osoba,Prof,Olabintan and a host of others, but with ridiculous stories like this ,the gateway state is on a downward slide

samuel i think you totally lack psychological tenents of analysing people. woni omo elefo o oni ho efo temi kise tori akitan. the reaction of the ikene LG boss shows a one sided judgement by all ramifications. does he think nigerians are fools and such pull thread over our eyes easily? there is no way he would have publicly announce that OGD forced him to pose nude for a oath too what do u expect when he is still loyal to the evil incanate called OGD

Mr. chairman, why are you trying to defend OGD. Do you t hink everybody is a fool like you. Where is the nude picture of the rest member of G15 as OGD and his rubbish newspaper mentioned that they all took blood oath for the purpose of impeaching him. Ika lo ma rojo ika ko lo ma da. You people should be ashame of yourself. Chairman Ijebu, Wale Alahusa Ijebu; Gbenga Daniel Ijebu You all need to go back home and retrace your steps. Dede wen o ni salubarika ASE

I was about to breath the sigh of relief when I started reading this, that at least, we have one saint out of a million demon re-incarnated politicians (as said by Hon. Alausa), Until I read that you said none of the other chairmen swore to an oath (you can only speak for yourself)and that they should allow your development-focused governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel to countnue to deliver divident of democracy to people (it is the masses that can judge that, not you). It is at that point that I realised that you are the same of the same (with all due respect).

You pple should understand that all these pple are so embarrassed by this revelation and would do anything to appear innocent.
personally i dont doubt the story since their God father has the gut to say that politics in nigeria has become a do or die affairs and considering the number of political assassinatn the country has been producing since, anything is possible. And the thugs in political office or that PDP party.

Dishonourable Wale Alausa, may u have reward of your oath.
Well you have yourself to blame now because nobody will believe your story unless the Governors picture or any of the council chairmens picture is produced following your claim that they also took the oath.
You are not rugged……………. consider your as a bastard RAT.

your claim is not true also. This is to deceive the people who does not know, not to deceive people who knows you. I laughed when i saw JOBAF (john obafemi;chairman remo north) saying his view. you guys are crooks. i was at isara and ode-remo on his election, i knew about the threat of the DPA cndidate in his favour. He can also do same, and he also claim a pastor of RCCG. With what happened at the 2007 guber election in ogun state, Gbenga Daniel can do such accused him of. He knows he his not legitimate, his conscience must be hunting him of that.
