A ‘church,’ where gay people worship, has been discovered at an Isolo, Lagos, neighbourhood.
The ministry, House of Rainbow, operates from a two-bedroom apartment in Block 145, Jakande Estate, at the Oke Afa area of Isolo. Scores of homosexuals, bisexuals, lesbians, and ‘transgender’ people regularly congregate at the assembly, touted as the first gay church ever in Nigeria.
Rowland Jide Macaulay, a 42-year-old self-professed ‘reverend’ and UK-trained lawyer, presides over the ministry, attended mainly by top fashion designers, models, celebrities, activists, among others.

During his regular sermons, Macaulay misinterprets the bible, by quoting several portions to justify the practice of homosexuality and bisexuality, which the holy book abhors.
The preacher, who wears rough curls, and dresses flamboyantly, maintains always that being gay is “totally acceptable in God’s sight.”
Also, during singing sessions, the church’s choir changes lyrics of popular christian songs to suit their doctrine.
For instance, a song: “God will give christians everything in double folds” is changed by the gay church to: “God will give us (gay) partners in double folds.”
For the two-year-old gay ministry, Macaulay has a special mission: to draw about 14 million gay people, he claims exist in the country, to the fold.
The gay ministry also plans to further promote the movement, with its plan to sponsor five interested people to study theology, in line with the gay doctrine.
The startling revelation is the outcome of four weeks of undercover coverage of the church’s activities by a team of P.M.News reporters.
On 11 May, when he was one of the guests at a recorded television show called Moment With Mo, anchored by Mo Abudu, at the City Mall Studio, Onikan, Lagos, the self-acclaimed man of God shocked Nigerians when he declared that homosexuality is not against the bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ.
The gay pastor and several other homosexuals and lesbians in the studio on that day took two good hours explaining comfortably to Nigerians that being homosexual does not make one a sinner. Reverend Macaulay disclosed that he has been a gay since he was 14 years old and had several intercourse with different men.
When asked if the bible does not preach against sodomy, the act of having sex with another man through the anus, the “man of God” said it was not in the bible.
He said the case of sodomy in the bible is an isolated one and must not be taken out of context. He admitted that he practices sodomy and was comfortable with it as a gay. He further explained that marriage in the bible has nothing to do with sexual orientation, but love and trust. Macaulay disclosed that he is a trustworthy gay.
The gay “man of God” explained that he does not feel attracted to women no matter how beautifully they may look, but on the contrary, has strong feelings for handsome men.
While other gays and lesbians in the television studio did not want their faces to appear on television, Macaulay said he is happy being the face of the faceless. After the television show, Reverend Macaulay told P.M.News that he is bold to talk about his homosexuality because “that is who I am.”
Another young lesbian, who did not want her face to appear on television, said she was introduced to lesbianism by a female friend at a tender age. She disclosed that she has dated many girls and had sex with most of them. She also said she has strong feelings for girls and does not feel same for men.
When asked if she would like to quit lesbianism, she said never. She added that now that she is a lesbian, she can never become heterosexual again. The City Mall edifice, on 11 May, looked like a rendezvous for gays with several homosexuals and lesbians freely and openly holding hands and kissing in public.

12 September 2008 15:55Well, in Nigeria, anything goes but I disagree with the figure of 14 million ‘gays’ in Nigeria as claimed by the ‘man of God’. Nigeria has not yet degenerated to that level and most of those who practice sodomy, lesbianism, homosexualism etc are exceptions and not the rule.

Homosexuality is a form of deformity and homosexuals/lesbians are just the patients. Both are a threat to propagation or multiplication of mankind in line with one of God’s injunction for marriage. I believe that by first accepting their situation as congenital problem that requires love and good counsel, perhaps some of the gays/lesbians will be transformed. Conversely, outright attack on them will force them to self preservation and might even induce curiosity modulated pity on some non-gays into gay/lesbian experiment. Same goes with people with bestial tendencies. Since God never gives up on mankind no matter our sins, let us keep praying for these ones, even for one of these ones. Leviticus 18:1-30 clearly states these practices as unlawful sexual relationships which incures the anger of God. Verse 22 specifically states”Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable”, that is call ‘perversion’. Sodom and Gomorrah incured God’s wrath one of which was because there were perverts, in Genesis 19:5 the Bible records:’They called out to Lot, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them.” This angered God and hastened the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.Referring earlier to Sodom, the Bible says in Genesis 13:13 “Now the men of Sodom were wicked and were sinning against the LORD”. Those who care could as well read Deutteronomy 23:18, Judges 19:22,Romans 1:24-27, the Bible says they will receive due penalty for their evil deeds. In as much as I am not condemning anyone because I have been saved by grace, yet we can not but draw the attention of these set of perverts to the fact that God will sure hold them responsible for whatever they think they are doing. To the general public, it is never a Christian idea and the true Christian religion is totally and comprehensively against this. Such should be prayed for, it is demonic and like Romans says, God gave them over to shameful lusts. This perversion has been notable in the north for a while now through the popular ‘dandaudu’ phenomenon. May The Almighty God deliver such people. It is important to interpret biblical passages in context. In the verse previous to Genesis 1:28, God is recorded as saying that he created Adam and Eve in his own image as “male and female.” In Genesis 1:28, having created them male and female and thus capable of procreation. he blessed them and commanded them to be fruitful and multiply so that there would be sufficient humans on earth to subdue it.
The meaning is quite clear, and needs little elaboration. God created two humans of different sexes so that they could reproduce. Much of our society has embraced many perverted sexual practices that are considered in the Bible as abominations to God. Homosexuality is among the list of deviate or abnormal sexual practices however, there are many other practices that can be included as well. Pornography, pedophilia, prostitution, bestiality, oral sex, phone sex and computer virtual reality sex, just to name a few of them.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (NIV): “Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters, nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.”
Although the Bible doesn’t detail each and every one of these sinful acts, it does clearly speak out about many of them. Any deviation from God’s original plan for sex between a married man and woman is still a sin in God’s eyes. The main reason we call these things perverted is because they are unnatural and scripture clearly tells us those who do such things are committing abominations. Leviticus 18:22 (KJV): “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind it is abomination.”
Homosexuality is also referred to as the sin of sodomy. This reference comes from an account in the Bible of two exceedingly wicked cities, Sodom and Gomorrah, which the Lord destroyed. Sodom was known for its rampant homosexuality and unrestrained sexual lust, as well as other sins such as arrogance, haughtiness, and disregard for the poor. When the Lord sent angels to warn Lot who lived in the city that it was about to be destroyed, the men of the city actually wanted to rape the angels! Genesis 13:13: “But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.”
In the Old Testament the penalty for this sin was severe. Leviticus 20:13: “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.” Today the penalty of death comes in the form of AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases. It also brings death to the soul and spirit of man because the life of God is pushed out by indulging in something that is an abomination to God. God wants to deliver all who are trapped in this unholy practice and He will if anyone calls out to Him with a sincere heart.
We certainly acknowledge that AIDS has broken out of the homosexual community, and now, many innocent people are suffering with this disease through no fault of their own. However, the intent of the above statement is not directed to those who have innocently contracted this disease, but rather to the sinners who are spreading it. A comparison could be made to those who smoke. Smokers are opening themselves up for lung cancer; however, the people who are subjected to breathing the smoke second-hand are also subject to this disease. The person who willfully smokes is guilty of destroying their own bodies, but should those who are forced to live in the environment of the smoke, get lung cancer, they are not guilty of this sin. When we teach that smoking causes lung cancer, we are not judging or condemning those who innocently get lung cancer from breathing second-hand smoke. It is simply a true fact that smoking can cause lung cancer.
The same is true of AIDS. A homosexual life style increases the risk of that person contracting AIDS. There is no condemnation or judgment against those who innocently contract this disease through no fault of their own (for instance, through blood transfusions.) However, since AIDS is most prevalent in the homosexual community, we need to warn people of the dangers of homosexuality, so that AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases are not spread to the rest of society, as now, many heterosexuals have contracted these diseases too, through unfaithful partners.
Romans 1:24-32:
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
These scriptures clearly state that these vile affections of men lusting for other men (gay men) or women lusting for other women (lesbians) are not the natural affections God created men and women to have for one another. Let me say here that God loves all homosexuals! However, He hates the deeds of homosexuality because they are sinful. God did not create any human being as a homosexual. They are not born that way, just as murderers are not born that way. However, these spirits can be transmitted to children, especially if someone who had this demonic spirit seduced or raped a child–or even if they were close to gay people. These demons can also be imparted to others through unholy sexual acts.
People become homosexuals because they yield to abnormal acts or lust. It is through some source that they have received a demonic spirit that drives them to their lust. Viewing evil videos or pornographic books is a way of opening the door for Satan to give one an evil, perverse spirit. Though people are not born as homosexuals, the Bible does say all human beings are born with a sin nature. If we yield to the evils of our flesh it will lead to our destruction not only in this life, but in the life to come. However, through faith in Jesus Christ and His death on the cross we can break the hold that sin has upon us. We do not have to yield to the old fleshy nature but we can now overcome evil temptations and live our lives controlled by the Holy Spirit.
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Sex is God’s idea and its purpose is not only for procreation, but also for recreation and the development of a deep relationship between man and woman. Nothing is wrong or dirty about sex when it is engaged in the bonds of marriage as the Lord commanded in the Bible. However, when perversions are committed inside the marriage relationship, this can be sinful also. God made man and woman and brought them together “face to face.” Oral sex is of homosexual origin that replaces the normal “face to face” relationship God intended in a marriage. The Bible describes the sex act in Song of Solomon Chapter 4. In this chapter it speaks of this “face to face” relationship by describing looking into his lover’s eyes and kissing his lover’s lips and fondling his lover’s breasts. Oral sex is not normal or natural as it is an unclean act.
No one has to live in bondage with an abnormal life of homosexuality nor any other abnormal behavior. No one has to be controlled by pornography. No one has to have evil thoughts plague their minds. There is a way out through what Jesus has done for us. He loves sinners and wants to free us from any evil practices. He will empower those who cry out for deliverance to get free and stay free. Here are the steps you must take to get free:
(1.) Make a total commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ. Be willing to turn your life completely over to the will of God and yield to His plan for your life. This means you must be willing to do anything, go anywhere and give up any thing as He leads. Remember, God will never lead you to do anything that is not in agreement with the Bible. You can trust God. He created you and has a better plan for your life.
(2.) Your must pray and read your Bible daily. You must study and apply the Word of God to overcome Satan’s attacks. The way that you resist the attacks of the devil is by quoting the Word of God to him. When the devil came to tempt Jesus, He simply quoted the Word to him. Good praise tapes will also be of a great help when you are tempted. Put one on and start singing along with it.
(3.) You must pray for and seek out a strong Bible believing group of Holy Spirit filled people. You will need their help and fellowship. As you humble yourself and seek help, the Lord will deliver you. Ask God to lead you to someone that can pray the prayer of deliverance for you, as you probably will need to be set free from a demon. You should also seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit as you will need His power to get free and to remain free.
(4.) You must cut off all sources and relationships that would lead you back into sin. The Bible tells us to flee fornication (sexual sins). You must get out of any corrupt entanglements, or areas that you know will be a temptation to you. If you have been hooked on internet pornography subscribe to an Internet Service Provider that will filter out the pornography for you. Destroy all evil books and videos.
(5.) Should you slip or fall back occasionally, repent and get right back up and go on with God. Do not allow the devil to condemn you once you have repented. Put your sin under the blood of Jesus. He will strengthen you and you will win this battle because of the Lord’s promise to you. Remember, He loves you and is there to help you. Run to Him when you get in trouble, never run from Him. He will not ever give up on you! We too, will be standing with you for your total healing and deliverance. Philippians 1:6: “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
(6.) You must forgive everyone that has ever hurt you. You can only do this through the power of God. You must by a simple act of your will voice the forgiveness and then the Lord will give you the feeling of forgiveness. This may be a while in coming but just keep forgiving when you think of any wrong that has been done to you. The Lord will give you His love for those people who have wronged you.
PRAYER FOR DELIVERANCE
Finally we want to pray for you right now if you need it:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come to you in the mighty name of Jesus and we ask that you touch this one right now, first of all with your love and forgiveness. Lord, wash their sins away. Wash away all the uncleanness and guilt. Lord we ask you to free them right now from the powers of darkness.
Now, we speak to Satan and his demons and we command them to leave in the name of Jesus! Satan, this one is no longer under your power. The blood of Jesus has set them free! We resist you and you must flee! This one belongs to God and you have no more authority over them! Be gone!
Dear Lord, thank you that you have set this one free and we are believing that you will lead them to the right people that will help them to walk out this deliverance. We break every chain of iniquity over their life and cancel every evil word that has been spoken against them. We declare they will walk in your victory and that you will enable them to do it. Lord, fill them with your Holy Sprit and guide them in the ways of God! We speak blessing and success to them. Most of all, we pray that they will feel your love for them right now. We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus. Amen

There was a time, the Jewish custom considered the lepers as outcast based on the bible. There were a time when a man could do away with his wife with simple accusation of adultery/fornication based on the bible. Scientific development and has debunked most of myths. God has brought people to clarity of the journey God was taking the world through and the world to. The time is fast approaching, when all of you will know that homosexuality is human nature not habit. But before then, the innocents shall suffer from your hands. 1. There is no word for homosexuality in the original, ancient Hebrew text. The bible makes NO reference to homosexuals as we know them today, nor as they exist in every living species.
From The Church and the Homosexual: “Malakoi and arsenokotai are not synonymous with homosexual. The former were simply debauched individuals, and the latter were probably male prostitutes or those given to anal intercourse, which is not necessarily or exclusively homosexual activity.”
From The Good Book: “The King James version of the 1611 text makes no mention of homosexuality or any of its cognates. The first use of the term in an English bible is to be found in the Revised Standard of 1946.”
2. The story of Sodom and Gomorrah has NOTHING to do with homosexuality. You will not even find the word “homosexual” in any version of this text. The angels came to destroy the city BEFORE they met the evil mob. Lot offers his virgin daughters to that same mob. Later, these same girls rape Lot. Lot’s wife was destroyed. If this story condemns homosexuality, then it also condones incest and gang rape. And, Lot’s wife was a lesbian. NONE of which is true.
From The Good Book: “The Hebrew verb “to know” is rarely used in a sexual sense. It occurs 943 times in the Old Testament and in only 10 of those does it have the sense of carnal knowledge. Sodom is referred to throughout the Old Testament as a place of wickedness and is synonymous with it. But, nowhere does it state that homosexuality was the wickedness in question…Sodomite refers almost exclusively to a male prostitute…to say that homosexual conduct is wrong because the bible says it is, is not to answer, but to dismiss the question….Sex can be productive without being reproductive. Homosexual rape is never to be condoned. It is indeed, like heterosexual rape, an abomination before God. David’s sin of adultery with Bathsheba does not make all heterosexual expressions sinful!”
From The Bible, Ezekiel 16:48-50: “The Lord says ‘Your sister Sodom’s sins were pride and laziness and too much food. While the poor and needy suffered outside her door, she insolently worshipped many idols as I watched. Therefore, I crushed her.’”
From What the Bible Really Says About Homosexuality: “The sin of Sodom was abuse and offense to strangers-insult to the traveler, inhospitality to the needy. The story is no more about sex than it is about pounding on someone’s front door. The bible offers NO valid conclusion whatsoever about homosexuality.”
3. Leviticus, Romans, and Corinthians all refer to “unnatural sex” for HETEROSEXUALS. It is NATURAL for HOMOSEXUALS to engage in homosexual sex.(Also see WHAT IS REAL SEX herein.) Yet, heterosexuals sin daily as gay prostitutes, porno film stars, lewd voyeurs, prison rapists, etc….
From The Good Book: “In Romans…Paul did not discuss gay persons but heterosexual people who performed homosexual acts. To suggest that Paul’s references to excesses of sexual indulgence, involving homosexual behavior, are indicative of a general position in opposition to same-sex eroticism, is as unfounded as arguing that his condemnation of drunkeness implies opposition to the drinking of wine. In Corinthians 1:7, Paul discusses the conjugal relations that ought to obtain between christian husbands and wives. For those whom celibacy was too high a price, he issued his famous edict that it was ‘better to marry than to burn’- not in hell. But with desire for the satisfaction of sex. Nowhere does he mention the sole purpose of such conjugality is the procreation of children.”
4. In Levitcus, homosexuality is an abomination not because it is inherently evil, but because the Gentiles do it. It is, therefore, ritually impure.
From What The Bible Really Says About Homosexuality: “Leviticus condemns sex as a religious crime of idolatry-not as a sexual offense. Romans suggest that sex acts have no ethical significance whatsoever. Corinthians and Timothy object to specific forms of male prostitution.These books do not refer to homosexuality. They make a general condemnation of moral looseness, lewd, lustful, and lascivious behavior.”
5. “Love Thy Neighbor” is a commandment. For the record, millions of your neighbors are homosexuals.
6. The bible is written by human men. They are not God. They never quote God or Jesus as saying ANYTHING about homosexuals. Jesus makes only one statement that can even be remotely viewed as a reference to homosexuality.
Matthew 19:12: “Jesus said ‘Some are born without the ability to marry.’”
7. God is love. Homosexuals are consenting adults who love each other. Gay love is invisible to ‘hating’ Christians. They see only gay sex. They hunt it down, exclusively, obscenely, curiously, and passionately. Many ‘hating’ Christians are homosexuals. They will love us when they learn to love themselves.
8. God loves EVERYONE who is GOOD. Some of the best persons in the world are homosexuals. From Dr. Cornel West, in the film “All God’s Children”:
“If I have one word for fellow Christians, I would ask them to keep their eyes on the love of Jesus, and to not confuse the blood at Calvary with the KoolAid of homophobia. KoolAid is thin and shallow and it’s linked to scapegoating…and trashing other people…But the blood, as thick as it is, is open enough for everybody.”
9. There are thousands of REAL SINS in the bible that ‘hating’ Christians ignore/commit. Selective smoke and blasphemous mirrors will never save their souls or mask their hypocrisy. Unlike the misinterpretations and exaggerations regarding homosexuality, the bible makes SPECIFIC references to many actual sins that ‘hating’ Christians habitually ignore. (See NUMEROUS biblical references to adultery, lying, judging, dietary laws, gossiping, infidelity, disrespecting authority, betraying family etc….)
10. The bible is not a primer for hatred. The bible is “the good book”. ‘Hating’ Christians use it exclusively as an evil bat; one they use exclusively to bash the skulls of homosexuals.

18 September 2008 12:05Homosexuality is an exception to the typical sexual behaviour of humans. I (as an individual) do not believe that people are “homosexual at birth”. Most human behaviour are learnt. I think homosexulity is a result of maladjustment to society. That does not mean that Homophobia is right however. Society has a duty to help these group of people without trampling on their human rights. That said, I think the “reverend” should start an NGO and not a Church as I know for a fact that Christianity does not uphold Homoexuality.

18 September 2008 17:29Dear Nigeria, there have been several break through studies regarding how homosexual brains are actually different to heterosexual brains. The idea of Homosexuality being actually “hard wired” into a person from birth. But they are written in pretty easy to understand language, which is why I chose them, and give a good overviews of the research that has been and is currently being carried out on the subject.
That leads to a lot of controversy. Nigerians will have to reevaluate how they view homosexuals, and the morality of it. If it is in fact hard wired into a person’s brain and they were born that way, then doesn’t that make them made by God and without sin? He obviously had a plan in mind. It also removes any idea that it is a choice that a person could make to be Homosexual. In fact, there was a study done and it is a extremely low percentage of people, and I do mean low and mostly women who choose to live in homosexual relationships without actually being of homosexual orientation.
Seriously now, why would anyone, I mean anyone, CHOOSE a life of homosexuality in the face of so much despise and hatred? Even at the threat of death? Clearly, the millions of homosexuals around the planet are not unlike the millions of women who have for centuries been oppressed because of the ignorance surrounding their true place and contribution to the planet.

Now, gay people have children, because they are normal people. So to then limit gay people to simple sexual orientation is really the worst harm that can be done to a person….I think this is again victimization by a Christian establishment that is looking at a gay person as a disempowered person, a person who has lost his job from birth onward, and now society just wants to fire him out of life. This is not justice…
What keeps a village together is a handful of “gays and lesbians”, as they call them in the modern world. In my village, lesbians are called witches and gay men are known as gatekeepers. These are the only two secret societies. These are the only groups that will get together as a separate group and go out into the woods secretly to do whatever they do.
They come from the Otherworld, and they keep the gates to the Otherworld. Because, if the gates are shut, this is when earth, Mother earth, will shake. Because it has no more reason to be alive. It will shake itself and we will be in deep trouble. Unless they go out on their yearly symposium, the village cannot be granted another year of life…This constantly reiterated discomfort and hatred for the gay person [in the modern world] is again another indication that every year we might as well be prepared for the apocalyptic moment when the stars start to fall to earth…
The great astrologers of the Dogon are gay…Why is it that everywhere else in the world, gay people are a blessing and in the modern world they are a curse? It is self-evident. The modern world was built by Christianity. They have taken the gods out of the earth and sent them to heaven, wherever that is….”
My good friend Thatdudeyouknow had an argument against this thinking. That although we are all born with impulses to sin, we can avoid them by choice. Let me take you into some of the physical, emotional and psychological things that happen to a person who suppresses their sexuality.
First of all, the rate of suicide is extremely high. In males, if testosterone builds up and not released, it can cause aggression towards others. High volumes of testosterone can cause all kinds of other issues too including increasing a man’s risk of prostate cancers and other nasty things. Sexually deprived males have serious issues with depression. Depression mixed with aggression causes abuse of self and others. Males that have little sex statistically die 10 years earlier than men who enjoy happy, healthy sex lives. Thats quite a large statistic.
How many of you went to Catholic school and dealt with the Nuns who were cruel? They too were overly aggressive towards weaker subjects. Many stories are out there about women having just as many problems mentally when deprived of sex as men. They can be just as cruel and abusive.
So suggesting that people simply “abstain” from sexual relationships and companionship because they are homosexual is absolutely barbaric and basically condemning them to all kinds of horrible things, just for the fact of being born.
In prisons, men who are deprived of women, often turn to each other to satisfy their needs. Men in captivity or stranded alone together in general tend to do so. It is the common need of feeling touch and connection to another person aside from the sexual release. Women too, find comfort and love in each other’s bodies if there are no alternatives in captivity. The studies then show that these same people revert to their basic sexuality after the event ends. It is rare psychologically for them to continue with homosexual activities after the fact.
So with this in mind, does it change at all your thinking about Homosexuals? Do you really feel that they have a choice? Do you still feel that it is a sin? Why? Isn’t that contrary to Bible passages that say that we are all God’s children who sin, yet he loves us despite our sins? And if it is a sin, is it a sin that should condemn a person to hell like murder? How do you get that? Doesn’t God make us all in his own image? Each perfect exactly the way he created us?

Have you no intellect to understand that the bible has been used for centuries to oppress black people and women? When the early christians used the bible to justify slavery- was that right? That was the same bible so if you do care to pick and chose- open your eyes and see how you are being made fools of!!! Do you think those in power really care about homosexuality or do they steal our oil, and resources whilst you spend energy being disgusted with sexual practices instead of treating everyone as our brothers and sisters and fighting to build a better black natio!.

2 October 2008 10:34Let me set the record, I am homosexual and have been living with my partner for the past 10 years, we met when I was 19 years, we are very successful and our families care about our relationship, which surprised both of us. I believe that House Of Rainbow MCC as a church and Human Rights leader, should be herald as a champion.
The funniest thing is that it is okay to collect taxes from gays and lesbians, but a continual denial of their human rights and privacy is high. I have never known any “danfo or molue” driver that says dont enter my bus because you are gay, I never know of any business that reject investment from a gay person. Ironically many Non Government Organisations in Nigeria receive funding from the Elton John Foundation, which was founded by the famous Elton John, Nigerians love and buy his music. Yet we found it right to malign, ostracise homosexuals in our nation.
Thanks Roni for your point, the ignorance of the bigoted members of our society is costing lives, may I also add that even some heterosexuals cannot have children and the number of gays will not end the procreation process, I think again many have these children and cant look after them.
Instead of celebrating Yesterday the Independence, I just look at the list of misery our nation’s government had inflicted on its citizen in the last 48 years. How sad.
