Richard Lamai Greys In Politics

August 28, 2008 14:48, 37 views

Wealthy businessman turned Niger-Delta activist, Chief Richard Lamai, is growing grey hair over how politics is played in the country.

Sources close to the owner of the massive Richfield Estate informed HiSociety that he is extremely worried about the betrayal, threats to life and unwarranted assassination in politics in the country, especially in the Niger-Delta struggle, where he has pitched his tent with the grand lord of the struggle, Chief Edwin Kiagbodo Clark.

It was gathered that the Fugar-born wealthy man, who has practically abandoned his London home for the struggle and now practically acts as the Chief of Staff and financier to the Ijaw leader, was jolted by the recent SOS to the security agents by Chief Clark, over threats to his life.

It was gathered that since that threat, Chief Lamai has been asking anyone who cares to listen why anybody will even think about snuffing life out of the over 80 years Ijaw leader, who has devoted all his life to the struggle to make life better for his people rather than himself.

What surprises him most is the fact that the threat comes from within the very region he has devoted all his life to make better.
