Wusto Begins Sale Of Post-UME Forms

Wesley University of Science and Technology, Ondo, (WUSTO), Ondo State has commenced the sale of its POST-UME forms.

According to the institution’s Head, Media and Communication, Reverend Oladapo Daramola, the exercise is open to all 2008/2009 UME Candidates irrespective of their first and second choice Universities.

The University which is owned by Methodist Church Nigeria and prides itself as Nigeria’s first privately owned University of Science and Technology, is expected to start its first academic session in October, 2008 with 5,000 students to be admitted into two colleges. They are the College of Natural and Applied Sciences with Departments such as Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences and Information and Communication Technology and the second being the College of Food Science and Technology with departments such as Food Science and Technology, Nutrition and Dietics, Hotel Management and Tourism, Home Economics and Food Management.

WUSTO, which was officially declared open on Wednesday 14, May 2008 by Prelate, Methodist Church Nigeria, His Eminence Dr. Sunday Ola Makinde, is a fully ICT-based institution committed to qualitative education.
