A housewife, Mrs. Ganiyat Salami, 27, residing at 146, Ipaja Road, Agege, Lagos, has stabbed her husband, Mr. Afeez Salami, to death over disagreement on feeding allowance. P.M.News investigations revealed that the deceased was stabbed to death by the wife during a scuffle which arose over disagreement in the feeding allowance provided by the man.“It all happened on Thursday afternoon when my husband refused to give me the amount he was supposed to give me for our feeding allowance. He fought with me and injured me. Then, I used a bottle to fight him back. I did not know that he was seriously wounded. I did not mean to kill him,” the wife who is now being detained at a cell at the State Criminal Investigations Department (SCID) told P.M.News.
Police sources told P.M.News that the deceased, a bus conductor, was hit in the head with a bottle by his wife who was outraged by the meagre feeding allowance.
Mrs. Salami who had three children for the deceased is to be charged for murder soon, a police source told P.M.News.Adebisi Oyebade.

10 June 2008 18:09This is a pathetic story,it bleed my heart to know that a woman will kill her husband over food allowance.She was working,she could have complement her husband little effort.When God said,’he will make an helpmate for Adam’.What he meant is a helping mate for all things that Adam will be doing.So the woman was to have manage the little the husband gave her or still add to it to feed her family.Since she has kill her husband,who will be giving her money to feed her family now.It is a question,she will be pondering in her heart wherever she is.
Advice to all woman,please be patience with your husbands and manage whatsoever he provides for the family.

if i may sir, i would rather be joining issues regarding appöintment of efcc chairperson.it would be a disgrace of international quantum having persons of not only questionable character but indeed shameless and blatant liars come to head an institution meant to uphold the sanctity uprightness.why change a winning formular for persons who look you in the eyes while standing truth on its head.help me somebody if you can.

Without much ado,may I suggest that a compulsory and legal association should be established as a suburb to the main organisation of both Islamic and Christian group to see to the pre-marital affairs of the young couples either educated or not, but a special taught and advice from the experienced elders with a sound knowledged ,to give a pre-marital counselling to these LOVE-TO- CHOP-COUPLES ‘cos this occurence is becoming more and more.
